About the Sunday Life Sessions
Our Sunday life drawing sessions vary between untutored and tutored and take place in a warm and friendly, down to earth environment. Beginners through to experienced practitioners welcome.
Usually the Sundays will go something like this ( but may vary a little):
The first Sunday of the month being from 10am - 1pm and with a focus on shorter poses from 1 min up to half an hour,
The second Sunday of the month wit be an all day pose 10am-4pm with lunch 1-2pm..However, you can book the morning only - 10am-1pm, and/or the afternoon 2-4pm.
The third Sunday of the month will be 10am -1pm and will be focused on longer poses, after a quick warm up of very short pooes will mainly be between 20 mins and 2 hours.
The fourth Sunday of the month will be a one day work shop with either Kate Broad or Duncan Cameron teaching, both of whom are on the teaching faculty at Falmouth University.
Duncan will be teaching anatomy for life drawing whilst getting us to explore a variety of materials.You can find out more about Duncan here.
Kate will be teaching a variety of workshops with the first being on May 13th where we will be working experimenting in monotype. Other workshops Kate will deliver will include working from the clothed figure. You can fin out more about Kate here.
If there is a fifth Sunday in the month we will put on a creative life session of some sort………
What is provided?
For untutored sessions please bring your own materials and paper/ground etc. We have drawing boards and easels and tables to pout your equipment on. For tutored sessions all materials are provided. . A selection of teas and coffee, organic milk and plant based milk, plus a selection of treats are also provided.
