About the Wednesday Life Drawing Term

Our untutored life drawing sessions for 3 hours a week on a Wednesday morning has been devised for those of us wanting regular daylight, weekday daytime practice, and are willing to commit to a term…..the autumn term constituting 16 weeks.

Sessions will alternate between either one long pose for the entire session, giving us a chance for a more considered drawing or painting, Or be a variety of poses with the first hour and 20 minutes before the break consisting of short poses between 1 min and 20 mins. Then there will be a 20 minute break, followed by either a 20 minute and a 1 hour pose or two half 40 minute poses depending on what the majority want. Something like this.

The model will finish posing at 12pm with the following half an hour a chance to look at each other’s work and all of us pack everything away for the day.

We are a friendly and down to earth bunch of folk with experience levels from early stages through to very experinced. Everyone welcome.

What is provided?

All equipment, paper and dry materials are provided but feel free to bring any favourites of your own. A selection of teas and coffee, organic milk and plant based milk, plus a selection of treats are also provided.
